This weeks Soundscan Numbers shine a little light on the Current State of the Music Industry. Jim Jones’ fourth solo album, Pray IV Reign sold 42,982 copies in its first week. Slim Thug’s second solo album, Boss of All Bosses, sold 32, 721 copies in its first week. (more…)

R&B Songstress Keri Hilson released her debut album, “In A Perfect World…” last week. Keri Hilson had a phenomenal debut on Soundscan charts selling 94, 497 copies.
Unfortunately, inside sources have confirmed to us that Keri’s album was undershipped. Sources tell us that the label only shipped 120,000 copies meaning alot of retail stores didn’t have copies of the album. SMH
